The construction industry added 28,000 jobs in January, 18% of all new jobs created that month. That pace might not continue, as employers find it harder to find skilled construction workers. Johnny Yates, the vice president of Rampart Construction, a Dallas-area firm, told CNN that "the bodies are jut not there." Rampart added about twenty-five workers in 2012, but is having trouble finding people to continue that expansion. He notes that his firm may find itself turning away jobs because of a lack of skilled workers to employ.
