We are happy to share a recent success for the BWB&O team! Las Vegas Partner Madeline Arcellana recently secured a full dismissal for BWB&O Clients, a real estate agency and agent.

BWB&O represented a real estate agent and her agency, who referred an individual tenant candidate to a pair of landlords. The landlords chose to rent their property to the referred-candidate and her boyfriend, both of whom held executive-level positions in a well-known local company. Subsequently, the tenants were evicted from the rental. The tenants did not participate in the eviction proceedings, and as a result, the landlords were awarded both back rent and punitive damages totaling over $350,000. The landlord Plaintiffs then sued BWB&O’s clients, seeking to collect that award of over $350,000, plus costs and interest from the real estate agent and agency.
